ENNALS,
Dr. John March 19, 1940 - March 31, 2014 Husband, father, grandfather, relation, Veterinarian, friend and neighbor. John died
surrounded by love. He traveled his 6 year journey with cancer the same way he lived his personal and professional life: positive,

will be celebrated and tenderly held in our hearts forever. For all who knew him, may his beautiful qualities and values serve
as a place for gentle, loving remembrance and strength. On behalf of the family, deepest gratitude and appreciation for the
love and compassionate care provided by everyone at Victoria Hospice. At John's request, there will be no formal service.

2003 Convention in Canada - with "the Queen"
John Ennals 3/19/1940 – 3/31/2014
John Ennals, husband of
Lindsay, Father, Grandfather, and retired Veterinarian March 19,
1940 – March 31, 2014. John died surrounded by his loving family,
after a six years journey with cancer.
He fought it the same way he lived
his personal and professional life; positive,
practical, humble, proud, selfless with compassion, kindness, dignity and
absolute integrity. John is dearly
missed and will be celebrated and tenderly held in our hearts forever. For all
who knew him, may his beautiful qualities,
values, and gentle love be remembered.
John’s family gives their deepest
gratitude and thanks for the love and
compassionate care provided by everyone at Victoria Hospice.
At John’s request, there will
be no funeral service. However at a later date there will be a gathering in John’s memory. All are invited to donate in John’s memory. Donate
to the Victoria Hospice in honor of our beloved Dad, Fish PaPa, Grandpa, PaPa,
Husband, and the Prince, John Ennals.
Lindsay told me yesterday, she called him her Prince because she kissed
quite a few frogs, before she found her prince.
After dating for two years,
and cohabitating for 15 years, they were
quietly married on May 23, 2008. They
then sold their great home with an indoor and outdoor pond on acreage in the
woods, outside beautiful Victoria. They bought
a home right on the water, with only a road separating them from the
ocean. With the need for space and a
place to park their cars on the property, they then built the new koi pond out
of a septic tank. It has worked out very
well, especially with the worst predators being strong otters.
I don’t know anyone who could
ever say a bad word about John. He was certainly one of a kind and precious
to all who knew him. A lot of John’s
description was taken out of the obituary two of his sons and Lindsay wrote and
was published on April 5th and 6th, 2014 in the Times Colonist Victoria BC obituaries.
Just remember, everything
is or was bright yellow, especially Lindsay, from
head to toe, her baseball cap and her bright yellow shoes. Don’t forget
her bright yellow pickup
truck. Every time I see one of these
bright yellow trucks, I always look inside for Lindsay or John.
Who knows!!!!
